Inspired by mermaids, Amber Williams (artist) has been creating art with self-taught collage methods most of her life. Her torso sculpture embraces the challenges one faces when confronted with an unfamiliar situation. Her collages can be seen in several art displays around the Quad Cities.

Gerry Bustos (community leader) is the Rock Island County Sheriff. He is no stranger to ovarian cancer, having lost both his mother and sister to this disease.
